Keepin' Cool . . .

We're in the midst of another stretch of hazy, hot and humid weather here in New York with no end in sight.   I've been paying my young neighbor to come for a few hours a week to play outside with Megan and watch her while she's in the backyard.  She loves to be outside no matter what the weather is and I feel horrible when I'm outside in weather like this so it's working out very well having her come over.  Jim's been working 9 nights straight now which means he's been sleeping 9 days straight.  I think Megan is going thru "Daddy withdrawal" because she is such a Daddy's girl and he hasn't been able to spend much time with her.  I can also assure you that he's going thru major "Meggie withdrawal!!"  : (  On the bright side, Megan now has more time for me.  When Daddy is around, Mommy becomes chopped liver for sure!!  : )

Megan likes to keep cool in her kiddie pool . . .

but sometimes the kiddie pool just isn't cuttin' it for her!!

I don't want her getting mad at me when she's older for posting "nudie" shots on the internet!!  : )
