New Beginnings . . .

Another new school year began with minimal complications. I made sure I got everything done the nite before which is a new concept for me. : ) I sat in the middle of the living room floor, surrounded by school supplies, and son #2 and I went down each list and filled up book bags. Haircuts and new sneakers were taken care of by my WONDERFUL husband. Son #1 drove himself to the mall for a haircut after football practice. I am SOOOOOO loving the fact that he can drive now!! I know that lots of mothers are nervous and not thrilled when their kids start to drive but I, for one, am ecstatic!! "Mom's Taxi" starts to grate on my nerves after a while!!

The above picture is classic "Brendan and Tyler BFF !!" I told them to act out how they felt about having to go back to school. Brendan was "crying" and Tyler was "feeling sick to his stomach." Not TOOOOO much drama going on, huh?!!?

My new second grader!!

So now it's back to some routine around here. I haven't listed anything new in my Etsy shops in a couple of days so that is a priority for me today. I have a bunch of Melissa Frances goodies that I'm getting ready to list in this Etsy shop . If you're not familiar with Melissa Frances you need to visit the Melissa Frances blog here . Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Go directly there!!!!!! Talk about eye candy!! You will see some of the most gorgeous creations ever!! They have all been created using Melissa Frances products and I'm so excited that I'll be adding them to my shop!! I took some pictures last nite so today is for posting!!

Have a wonderful day. We're supposed to be having rain and wind here for the next day or two. My absolute favorite cooking, cleaning and creating weather!!!! : )

Many blessings ~ Wendy

Your kiddoes are adorable... they crack me up, mugging for the camera. Happy, shining faces... can't help but smile looking at them :-))

Hope they have a wonderful school year! Seems funny to me for their school to just be startiing....I've been back since July 29. I agree with you about the connection between "weather" and cleaning. I LOVE to be inside cleaning house when it is raining!
