This morning we woke up to something that we haven't seen in a while ~ SNOW!! It's January and we live in New York so it shouldn't have come as a surprise but we haven't really seen any in about a month. We had a lot of rain last week and the temps have been above normal for this time of the year so everyones' lawn has looked like giant mud puddles. This is definitely not a good thing when you have a dog that lives for hole digging!! :)
It's amazing how an inch of snow can make everything look sooooo pretty again!!

I get excited when I see 25 or 30 people visiting my blog in a day. I can't imagine how people who get thousands of visitors and hundreds of comments a day feel!! :)

love your winter wonderland..we haven't had any this year...or last for that matter...it has been really mild..my tulips are already 3-4 inches tall...my primroses are blooming. and stuff is getting green everywhere...it looks and feels like spring here...have a great thursday.:)

I was just wondering how you Valentines decorate for your namesake day! Too bad the snow didn't last too long, but then again, we always complain when it sticks around too long too.
Oh Wendy, look at all that wonderful snow. I agree with you even one inch covers all the imperfections in the garden and makes everything look like a fairy wonderland.
