It feels like Autumn is finally starting to get into full swing around here. The temperature is still a little too warm for me but I love that the days are getting shorter and there's a chill in the air. I've been having a wonderful time looking at some of my favorite blogs and how they're starting to batten down the hatches for the impending cold weather that's rapidly approaching.
Stacks of firewood.
I thought this was so pretty. The fireplace reminds me of my grandmother's when I was growing up.
Remnants of summer flower and vegetable gardens.
Autumn asters.
Pulling out last year's cold-weather clothes to see what still fits.

I live for this time of the year and it seems to me that a lot of my blogging friends do, as well. Lucky for me!! : )
Many blessings ~ Wendy

I'm imagining a roaring log fire and hot chocolate in big mugs! Enjoy your Autumn chills. We are just starting our hot season!
I love the NY leaves. I live in Colorado now, but I'm from Stockbridge, NY (between Syracuse and Utica). Your photos remind me of home!
Wow, that first one is stunning! Up here in New England, we didn't get a real great foliage this year - I think the warm weather got the leaves confused. It was pretty, but not like that WOW.
