Heart of the Home . . .

If the kitchen is considered the heart of a home, well, then my heart has been broken for years and down right torn apart for the last two weeks.  LOL!!  That's how long we've been in the midst of our kitchen renovation.  I've taken lots of  "before" photos and can't wait to be able to take lots of "after" ones, too.  We're waiting for the countertops to be delivered this week and then most of the work can be finished up.  My husband and father in law have done an amazing job and I can't wait to share the photos when it's all done.  For now, I'll have to live vicariously through some of the gorgeous kitchen photos I found at House Beautiful.

If only money were no object!!  : )

Many blessings for a happy heart and a happy Thursday ~ Wendy

I feel your pain lol We are trying to function in our old kitcken with the ceiling torn out and no cabinets. We save a little money and then tackle a little more when we can. Have a good day!

The list of excellent points about formica countertops just goes on and on. They're the best choice which you can make if you want to redo the look of your kitchen or bathroom. Not only are they inexpensive, but they can also bring an aesthetic value to these areas of your residence.

We actually opted for formica for our countertops and we're thrilled with how they look. Unfortunately, the manufacturer made a big error and put the cut in them right over where the sink is so it's going to be at least another week before the replacement comes. It's always something!! :-) Thanks so much for your comment!!

Wendy, those kitchens are fabulous! The pink refrigerator is awesome! I am a sucker for a white kitchen though. I miss my white kitchen so much!
