A Very Busy Day . . .

Yesterday, we had a surprise visit from my sister-in-law, Michelle  (who's more like a sister to me!!) and our nephew, Jason and my husband's Aunt Hope and her adorable grandson, John.  It was an absolutely beautiful spring day outside so we sat in the backyard and drank coffee and ate pineapples and strawberries under a shady tree and watched the kids as they bounced around in the bouncy castle we bought for Megan last year.

The cousins ~ Megan, Jason and John.

That castle has already paid for itself ten times over and I'd recommend it to anyone who has a child that loves to bounce up and down as much as my daughter does!!  : )

John talking to his Me-Ma.
The sun was very warm yesterday and the shirts came off soon after the bouncing began!!
Oh, that face!!!!!!!
And then we ventured to MacCalman Field in Nyack to watch our middle son, Trevor, play in a much anticipated lacrosse game against Suffern.

That's Trevor in the white jersey.  He plays defense.

This is the bell tower at the school where the game was played.  It used to be Nyack High School but became too small for the growing population so a larger school was built and this is now used as a school for troubled kids.  The clock didn't work for years but was then restored.  Graduates of the old Nyack High School are so proud to call this beautiful building their alma mater ~ myself included.  : )
We ended up beating Suffern High School 14-7.  It was our first victory against their varsity lacrosse team in 17 years!!!!!!!!  WOOHOO!!!!!!  Our coach was a sophomore at Nyack High School and playing on that winning team way back in the day and remembers it well.

Celebrating their victory .  Way to go Indians!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today's game was rained out but will be played tomorrow.  We're looking forward to it!!  : )

Many blessings for a wonderful Wednesday ~ Wendy
