I'll Take Manhattan . . .

As promised, a bit of that old (and some not so old) Manhattan architecture in the Gramercy Park area . . .

Pretty amazing stuff, huh??  I hope to get back into the city again, soon.  We're in the midst of a beautiful spring here in New York.  Finally!!!  The days are starting to get warmer but not too warm.  The nights and mornings are still chilly and, after the soaking rain we had last week, everything is really starting to bloom.  Such a beautiful time of the year!!!  : )

Many blessings for a wonderful Monday and a happy week ahead ~ Wendy

Photos on a {mostly} Wordless Wednesday . . .

A photo of Lady Liberty that I took while on a cruise around Manhattan with my son's fifth grade class.

Keeping a watchful eye over the harbor.

The Brooklyn Bridge.

This is the Freedom Tower that is being built as a result of the loss of the Twin Towers.  Being a New Yorker, I can't begin to tell you the emotion we all felt as we looked at this and all that it represents.  God bless America!!
The very top of the freedom tower.
The Freedom Tower still under construction.

A bird's eye view of Manhattan.
The Empire State Building.

Many blessings for a a happy and peaceful Wednesday ~ Wendy
