WARNING ~ Do Not View on an Empty Stomach

Today, I woke up with a sweet tooth. Visions of sugar plums are dancing in my head. It made me think of all of my favorite sweet treats.




I thought I'd combine some of those sweet treats with a little EYE CANDY thrown in for good measure.

Isn't this sweet little tree adorable? I thought this was such a great idea to use ice cream cones as decorations. Leave it to Country Living Magazine to come up with this!!

The thing about candy corn, I find, is that you either love them or hate them. Which side of the fence are you on?

I don't particularly like these mint candies but they remind me of my Grandmother and I just love the way they're being packaged here.




It truly is "all in the presentation!!"







Suddenly, I'm back in elementary school celebrating Valentine's Day with my classmates and counting all of the Valentines I received in the milk carton mailbox we each made in art class. : )

Cupcakes on my Mind Part Deux . . .

When I was a kid, the fanciest cupcake toppers I remember seeing were the ones you bought in the grocery store that were made out of some kind of candy and were hard as a rock. Come to think of it, they kind of tasted like rocks, too!!







Boy, have they come a long way, Baby!!






Just look at these vintage baby images!! I sold a bunch of vintage cards with images just like these earlier this year in my Etsy shop.



How sweet are these felt bird toppers? Not to mention the cupcake pedestal with the ribbon running thru it!!




Definite eye candy!!






Remember the days when the only cupcake liners you could find were either silver or pastel colored?











Those days are certainly long gone now!!






Just look at all of these brilliant colors!!

A visual delight!!

Although, they do make me a bit dizzy if I stare at them for too long!! : )
