Perfect . . .

On Sunday, we took a drive up to Cornwall to help my mother dig out of her little cottage before the next bout of snow came.  We're in a snowy pattern here in the northeast.  It's been nothing like Massachusettes who is measuring in feet but a few inches here and a couple inches there and it starts to add up.  My mother lives on a mountain so she usually gets more than other parts of Cornwall.  My husband said she had close to 3 feet in her yard and a couple of feet on her front deck before he shoveled it for her.

Chloe and Seamus didn't seem to mind the snow at all.  Chloe is a New Foundland and she loves to lay out on the deck when it's snowing.  She'd stay out there all day if my mother let her!!

Seamus loves to "snowplow" (as my mother calls it) his face in the snow.  He's just so funny!!

While Jim was outside shoveling and stacking firewood, Nana and Megan baked cookies and I plopped myself on the couch with a cup of coffee and caught up on the latest episode of Downton Abbey.  Snow was falling outside and it was so cozy inside.

The perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon in my book.  : )

Many blessings for a happy Tuesday ~ Wendy

Wow, all that snow...I think I would rather be inside with the TV than outside with those beautiful dogs.

Snow and Downton Abbey is probably my idea of the perfect Sunday. Also I want to bear hug that Newfie.

All that snow....so beautiful! We've been hiking in 60 degree weather out here and while it's so relaxing and wonderful to be outside, I do miss the snow!! And, I am a week behind on Downton Abbey!!
Hope you have a great week!!

The icicles are amazing, aren't they?! We have so many on our house (and ice dams to go along with them- two of which are leaking into our house sadly). It's been a wild few weeks and we're bracing for another blizzard this weekend! We love snow but I'm thinking we're in for quite a mud season this year! Love that last picture. The light in that candle is my favorite type bulb! xo
