Onward and Upward . . .

Miss Megan graduated from her morning pre-school program this week.  Hurray!!!  It was such a wonderful celebration filled with singing, recitation of the Declaration of Independence (no small feat for four and five year olds to memorize!!), God Bless America and a song about some sort of trouble in Paradise after Adam ate the forbidden apple.  Although I'm not a big fan of organized religion, I am so very happy that we decided to enroll her in a Catholic pre-school.  She has flourished and is more then ready for kindergarten in the fall!!!

Waiting to take her graduation walk!!

The theme for graduation was "For God and Country."  I have to admit I cried as the kids sang their montage of patriotic songs.  I love this country of ours and have felt so sad as I've seen people desecrate our flag these last months.  I'll save my thoughts on that for another blog post though.  : )

Singing "God Bless America."  Yes, I cried.  : )

I had to get this photo of her sitting like such a lady.  Usually it's legs wide open without a care in the world!!  LOL!!

Receiving her diploma!!!

Moving her tassel to the other side.

After having to sit up straight and in one place for so long, Megan and her bestie Meghan with an "h" (yes, that's what we call her!!) couldn't wait to celebrate with each other.  These two are two peas in a pod as you can tell by these photos.

The absolute BEST!!!!!

Megan and her teachers.
On Wednesday she graduates from her afternoon class which was thru the Universal Pre-K program held at St. Paul's.  Same building but a different curriculum and different teachers.

On the home front, we're still plugging along with getting the house on the market.  We started to get too much anxiety over getting it listed by June 1st.  I know it will all work out in the end and we'll eventually sit back in our new home, heave a sigh of relief  and wonder why we ever stressed over it all to begin with.  From my mouth to God's ears!!  : )

Have a beautiful weekend ~ Wendy
