My honey bought a pretty little mason jar bird feeder and hung it on the bush outside of my studio window. Two of the prettiest cardinals come and feed on a regular basis. The male cardinal eats and pays me no mind but the girl always looks into my window to see what I'm doing. I think she looks a little chubbier than she did at the beginning of spring so I'm hoping for babies. Fingers crossed!!

This beautiful bird was at the feeder last week. I looked him up and it appears that he's a house finch. I haven't seen him again so maybe he was just passing thru.
These two little brats love to spy on me while I'm working. They've made me jump more than once when I suddenly saw someone at the window staring at me.

And in other news . . .
Guess who came to visit our quaint little town? The Donald himself!! He attended the New York Military Academy which is over the ravine and thru the tiny woods from us. This was the best I could do photo wise. He stayed for a total of about 30 minutes and was gone just as quickly as he arrived. Whether you like him or not, it was still pretty exciting to have a presidential candidate land in your 'hood!! : )

Those cardinals are gorgeous. One of my favorite birds.
And the Donald! I would love to see one of his rallies but I don't think he'll be coming to NM now that he has the nomination sewn up.
