When my husband and I first met and things started to become serious between us, I made it pretty clear to him that I had no intention of moving out of my house. The boys were well established in school and sports and had lots of friends and how could I ever leave a community that had so incredibly embraced us after the death of my first husband.
He completely understood. He had no baggage when we met. Not even a cat. He thought he was going to be a bachelor for the rest of his life. But as the saying goes, "We plan and God laughs."
My husband had started a very large addition on his house that would pretty much turn it into the house of his dreams. Then God laughed in the form of three young boys in need of a father and one woman who has never "needed" a man but was ready again for the companionship that one brings. We met for our first date after speaking back and forth via eHarmony (yes it really does work!!) for a couple of weeks, looked into each other's eyes and have never looked back since.
Several weeks ago, after hours upon hours of work that needed to be done in order to get the house in selling condition, the house sold. It is now time to concentrate on my, excuse me, our little cottage.
I've been looking thru endless magazines and ripping pages out and am starting to create a scrap book filled with things that catch my eye as far as decorating goes. My problem is that I can have one thing in mind and then I see a picture of something else and then I change my mind.
The one thing that seems to be consistent lately, though, is my love for lime.
I don't know how keen the men in this house are on lime but they better get used to it 'cause I've decided I'm going with it for the upstairs bathroom. And nothing is going to make me change my mind!! : )
Many blessings ~ Wendy

I like it too! And it's such a great color to play with cause you can do so many things (as these very pics suggest). We have it in the store right now, paired with black and white and I just love it! Can't wait to see what you do and what you men-folk think. :D

I think Lime Green would look great in your bathroom. Much luck with it.
a very fun post Wendy. Thanks for stopping by mine. It is fun to decorate. I feel like you when I see various photos. I always thought it would be fun to have a few homes to decorate different ways. :) JoAnnA
